Peterson Elementary Discipline Policy:
P.A.W.S.-Polite, Accountable, Willing and Safe. P.A.W.S is a decision-making framework that is used to increase academic performance, decrease problem behavior, and establish a positive class climate.
In room 106 we focus on acknowledging students for positive behavior. These expectations are taught to all students and practiced to ensure understanding. Our goal is to create an environment in which positive behavior "works better" than problem behaviors for all students.
To keep parents informed about daily behavior room 106 we have a behavior chart as well as a Class Dojo account.
